Every nation puts wedding on the most important place of all the rituals, so different countries have their own traditions and beliefs that may seem to us, the Slavs, a little strange or unusual. What is customary to give gifts in a variety of countries around the world?
In Japan, it is customary to invite to the wedding ceremony all the relatives on both sides, so the most current and popular wedding gift in the land of the Rising sun are considered banal money. Thus, the couple plan to pay back all the costs that went to the ceremony. But here the main thing is not the gift itself, but how it was given to a young family. The Japanese make of banknotes fan you should fan the bride and groom. In this country, it is believed that fanning herself with a fan made of money, you can attract money to the wind. The Chinese believe that the symbol of prosperity and happiness is red, so they always try to wrap your gift in bright red packaging. Despite the fact that they will give, as long as the gift was wrapped in paper of that particular color for the Chinese. This tradition has not lost its relevance today, despite the fact that its history spans many centuries. In addition, the Chinese give to the wedding the figures of their gods, especially the God of longevity, joy, happiness or wealth.
